CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — Greg Olsen is keeping his options open.

The Carolina Panthers tight end is reportedly interviewing for an ESPN MNF analyst job in Bristol, Connecticut, according to ESPN NFL Nation Reporter David Newton.

Newton, who covers the Carolina Panthers, tweeted out on Friday that Carolina officials are aware he is there. Team sources told Newton that the Panthers understand this is more “exploratory” for the future and Olsen plans to play this season.

Olsen, 33, is entering the final year of his contract in Charlotte.

Other sources told Newton that Olsen is committed to playing for the Panthers this year, although the MNF analyst job he is interviewing for at ESPN is for this season.
