Panthers release OC Mike Shula, QB coach Ken Dorsey

CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula and quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey have been relieved of their duties.

Shula spent the past seven seasons with Carolina, working as quarterbacks coach for two seasons before becoming offensive coordinator in 2013.

During Tuesday’s press conference, head coach Ron Rivera said he was “looking for someone with different perspective.” 

When asked if Norv Turner is a potential candidate, but said he will continue to go through the process with Panthers interim general manager Marty Hurney
