MINNEAPOLIS — Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly traded in his helmet and pads for a hairnet and apron Wednesday. The Panthers star helped serve lunch to hundreds of homeless people at a soup kitchen in Minneapolis.

Kuechly teamed up with Campbell’s Chunky Soup to donate 250,000 bowls of soup at the Hour of Charity in Minneapolis.

He’s not the only Panther giving back. Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey teamed up with USAA and the USO of North Carolina to award two U.S. military veterans a trip to the big game in Minneapolis.
