YORK COUNTY, S.C. (FOX 46 Charlotte) — The Carolina Panthers are in favor of a new practice facility, but the question that’s been floating around Panther nation is where that facility will be.
There have been several times this season that weather cost the team practice time because they don’t have an indoor facility like other teams in the NFL.
The Panthers currently hold practices right next to Bank of America Stadium
Head Coach Ron Rivera says he’s letting owner David Teppper handle the issue, but during a press conference Thursday he did hint at the possibility of a facility in York County.
The powers that be in Rock Hill say they love the idea.
The team holds training camp at Wofford College, but the final year of that contract is next season. Ideally, training camp would be part of the move too.
