Woman arrested in connection to dog stolen from animal shelter

Atlanta Police have arrested a woman who they said was caught on camera stealing a dog from the Fulton County Animal Shelter.

Authorities said surveillance video showed Leah Zinn putting the tiny pup inside her coat and walking out with it back in February

The dog was returned several days later by a man.

Police are still looking for that man but have identified him as 43-year-old Daniel Whitehead.

They have charged Zinn with misdemeanor theft by taking.
