WANTED: Police search for suspect in Family Dollar robbery

SALISBURY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — The Salisbury Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who they believe robbed a local Family Dollar earlier this month. 

Richard Macon Dunn, 32, of Lexington, North Carolina, is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection to a robbery at the Family Dollar in Salisbury on Jan. 30. 

Dunn was last known to be driving a black Ford Fusion, NC license plate: ELY-1280.  He’s described as a white male, 6’3” tall and approximately 215 pounds. Dunn has a mustache and goatee and wears glasses. The right side of the glasses may be broken, police said. 

“If located do not approach the subject,” police said.
