Two wanted in connection to 7 church break-ins in Union County

The Union County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating two people connected to a series of church break-ins. 

Deputies said Amanda Nicole Hickey, 23, and Justin Ray Patterson, 28 are wanted for breaking and entering into a house of worship. 

The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office has arrest warrants for both Hickey and Patterson and the two are wanted for questioning by Union County Sheriff’s Office in connection with seven separate breaking and enterings of local churches that occurred over the past week.

In addition, CMPD and the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office are investigating cases that may be connected.

The suspects are believed to be operating a 2007 model Honda Accord, possibly gray in color.
