Two suspects arrested in December triple homicide

CHARLOTTE, NC — Two suspects have been charged in the December murders of three men.

Antonio Lafloyd Robinson was arrested in Lancaster, SC early Thursday morning and Jovon Raymar Twitty was arrested in Charlotte this afternoon.

CMPD says Robinson is in custody of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office awaiting extradition. Twitty is currently being interviewed and will be taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Robinson and Twitty have both been charged with three counts of murder.

CMPD says after investigating they have discovered that the homicide was not a random act of violence and appears to be drug-related.

On Friday, December 4, police say Naquivs Aqueece Benson, Jarvis Mandrell Benson and Javarius Deshawn McGee were found inside a home on China Grove Road with apparent gunshot wounds.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a Homicide Unit Detective.
