Trailer containing customized 1975 Chevy Caprice stolen in south Charlotte

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is searching for those responsible after someone stole a trailer that contained a customized 1975 Chevy Caprice in late April. 

The theft occurred around 3:40 a.m. Thursday, April 25 at Creative Customs located at 4835 South Boulevard. 

Police said the suspect cut the lock off the fence and stole a trailer with a 1975 customized Chevy Caprice inside. Police say the car is worth $125,000. The trailer has red skid prevention wheels on the back, police said. 

The suspect vehicle is a white Chevrolet Single Cab with stickers in the top right and the top left of the back window. The vehicle has damage to the right front fender, right bed rail and black rims. The suspect was seen on surveillance in all black with their face covered and wearing gloves.
