Silver Alert issued for missing 79-year-old Cleveland County man


SHELBY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Cleveland County man that is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

James Albert Tyson, 79, was last seen in the 100 block of Camden Court wearing black pants, a green jacket and glasses.

Tyson is described as a black male, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 201 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.

Officials said Tyson may have been headed in the direction of Grant Street. He drives a white 2004 Acura MDX with North Carolina license plate No. 2H84BP.
