Registered sex offender accused of having ‘pornographic’ images

IREDELL COUNTY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — A registered sex offender has been arrested again by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office after they said he created multiple social media accounts and downloaded pornographic images. 

Kevin Anthony Foster, 26, is charged with two felony counts of fail to inform of new/changes to online identifiers. He is being held without bond. 

Deputies said on Thursday, Nov. 30 a report was filed by members of the NC Probation and Parole concerning a registered sex offender, Foster, possibly having images of child pornography on his electronic devices. 

Authorities also believed Foster had multiple social media accounts on these devices which had not been reported to the sheriff’s office. In North Carolina, registered sex offenders are required to notify the sheriff’s office of all online identifiers. 

Foster was convicted in 2013 of felony indecent liberties with a child. After serving his active time in prison, Foster was placed on 36 months supervised probation and place on the NC Sex Offender Registry. He was ordered to main on the registry for 30 years and ordered to follow the special conditions for sex offenders. 

After investigating the electronic devices, numerous images of pornographic material were located. Foster was charged and arrested on Nov. 29 for violation probation. Based on the continued investigation, additional charges have now been filed.
