A verbal argument resulted in a shooting in north Charlotte that sent one man to the hospital.
Officials say the shooting occurred in the 9800 block of Feldbank Drive around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
A landlord along with his friends showed up to a home where a group of people were gathered. An ongoing verbal altercation broke out and quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
Alexander Goode, a friend of the landlord was shot in the back in the street, police say.
Goode suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Carolinas Medical Center for treatment.
After the shooting, the two suspects, Alexis Brafford and Aruthr Nabinett fled in a vehicle, but were later caught and arrested by police.
The incident is still under investigation.
