Missing Lincoln County man found safe


LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) — UPDATE: Noah Andrew Ayers had been located and is safe, according to a foster parent who contacted the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. 


The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating a missing 20-year-old man. 

Noah Andrew Ayers, of Lincolnton, was last seen leaving his home around 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 in an unknown vehicle with unknown occupants, deputies said. 

Ayers was possibly on his way to a baseball game at North Lincoln High School. He was last seen wearing a black and red “Savage” jacket with black pants

The information for the Silver Alert is based on information provided by a foster parent concerning cognitive impairment and he is on medications, deputies said. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
