Lincolnton Police looking for 13-year-old runaway


LINCOLNTON, NC (FOX 46) — The Lincolnton Police Department is looking for a 13-year-old runaway.

John David Charles has runaway from his home, according to the police department. 

He is 5’7,” 130 pounds and a slim build. He is a frequent runaway who has had juvenile runaway pickup orders on him in the past, according to police.

Charles is know to frequent Betty Ross Park, City Park, the Lincolnton Rail Trail, the Lincolnton Public Library, and the Christian Ministry Soup Kitchen.  Additionally, Charles is known to frequent the areas of E. Pine Street, Mauney Drive, and the Oaklawn communities.  

Charles has been entered in NCIC as a runaway.
