The student acted quickly, running to her bus. The bus driver tried to get her to safety by closing the door, but the owner of the dog got his arm caught on the door trying to stop the pit bull.

“She had already shut the door but then the neighbor had put his hand through the door and the door opened and the then the dog attacked the bus driver,” the student says.

The pit bull latched on to the bus driver’s the elbow. The driver only has minor injures and is expected to be ok, but the students says she’s afraid it could happen again.

“It scares me because what if his other dogs get loose and it happens again”

The owner of the dog didn’t have any comments about what happened.
