Iredell County Sheriff’s Office: Missing Mooresville woman found

MOORESVILLE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — Amanda Lindsey Sutton was located as of 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office would not confirm if she was found safe. 

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing woman who hasn’t been seen since Wednesday afternoon. 

Amanda Lindsey Sutton, 36, was last seen in the area of  Overhead Bridge Rd. just east of Mooresville around 3:00 p.m.

Viewers reported seeing heavy police presence in the area today, and the Sheriff’s Office has said that “residents will notice an increased presence in this area as search crews are conducting a land search at this time.”

Sutton is described as a white woman, 5′ 5″, weighing around 145 pounds. She was wearing a brown sweater with dark brown buttons and blue jeans when she went missing. he lives in the area of Brumley Rd. in Mooresville.

The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone that has seen her or knows her whereabouts contact the Iredell County Sheriff’s Communications Center at 704-878-3100. Residents will notice an increased .
