Fifth night of Charlotte protests remain peaceful


CHARLOTTE, NC — The fifth night of protests in Charlotte remained peaceful following the release of dash-camera and body-camera footage from the Keith Scott case.

The fourth night of Charlotte protests remained peaceful.

This coming after the death of Keith Lamont Scott, who was shot and killed by a police officer on Tuesday.

As of 12 a.m. Friday three patients were treated for minor injuries. There were no transports, according to Medic. And no arrests were made, according to CMPD.

Curfew was in effect for 12 a.m. and the protests wrapped up between 2-2:30 a.m.

The curfew will remain in place until the State of Emergency is lifted.

There have been 58 arrests since Tuesday, according to CMPD.
