Dog saved from house fire in north Charlotte


CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) — The Charlotte Fire Department responded to a house fire early Tuesday morning in north Charlotte.

Firefighters were called out to the 1600 block of Maribel Ave. where there was visible smoke. They were able to get the fire under control in 13 minutes.

No one was home at the time of the fire, according to CFD. A dog was saved from a crate inside the home. There were no injuries reported. 

CFD believes the fire started outside.
