CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — A man is caught on home surveillance camera trespassing at a home off Monroe Road and Rama Road. Police believe he may be connected to a series of break-ins in east Charlotte.

With no mask and a flashlight, the man can be seen taking his time to look into the back of a house.

When FOX 46 shared the surveillance video with homeowners who lived on the street where it happened, they couldn’t believe it.

The video was taken around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on Knickerbocker Drive. The homeowners were able to see the man on surveillance and call 911 before anything serious happened.

Police want to find the man as they say he could be connected to a string of break-ins that happened on Rama Road, Monroe Road, and Charing Place.

There’s been more than half a dozen reports in those areas of crooks going into homes and garages.
