CMPD looking for two more suspects involved in NW Charlotte attempted armed robbery

CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are looking for two more suspects involved in an armed robbery in northwest Charlotte.

CMPD said on Tuesday around 12:15 a.m. two victims were found inside their car at the 4820 block of Tuckaseegee Road at the Tuckaseegee Recreation Center, when they were approached by three unknown suspects.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. Both victims were pulled from the car, one man was physically assaulted as the suspects attempted to rob them, according to police. The same victim was able to call 911 when the suspects ran away.

Police said as the suspects ran off the one armed with a firearm fired a single shot. No one was hit but the one man assaulted suffered lacerations.

CMPD officers along with a K-9 Unit responded to the scene and were able to catch one of the suspects, Edward Donnell Livingston.

He has been charged with attested armed robbery, aggravated assault and an OFA for a probation violation.
