CMPD asking for the public’s help in finding missing woman


CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public’s held in finding Nia Hantzopoulos.

The call for service came in at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday at the 7000 block of Quail Ridge Drive.

The reporting person said that his wife was last seen leaving the area on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. driving in a silver 2005 Toyota Avalon with an NC tag of ZVD-3868. She was heading to the Pineville, NC or Fort Mill, SC area.

She has not made contact with her family members at this time and there is some concern about her safety, according to police.
