Carolina Panthers fans plan Super Bowl trip

Charlotte, NC — Super Bowl 50 is a rapidly approaching and time is running out to book your travel plans.

Carolina Panthers fans planning to see the game in person will likely have to dish out thousands of dollars for tickets, hotel, and airfare.

Agencies like AAA offer packages that have everything including a ticket to the game. Officials say now is the time to book your trip because packages are running out.

According to AAA’s website, travel packages range from about $1,400 to nearly $7,000 depending on hotel, the length of stay, and if the package includes a ticket to the game.

“Remember that these tour companies charter planes. These seats fill up very quickly, space is limited. So, book now,” said Tiffany Wright, AAA Carolinas.

AAA says prices for travel packages change all of the time. They say prices could drop as we get closer to the game, but waiting is a risk.

AAA is offering a custom travel route for anyone interested in driving to Santa Clara. Click here to see it.
