4 arrested in uptown Friday night during CIAA

CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police made four arrests Friday evening in uptown Charlotte during the CIAA events, but say there were no major incidents reported in the center city or with any major venue associated with the CIAA Tournament.

Police say that events are being coordinated from their command center in center city. The following were charged:

  • Dakota Imani Adams, 24, was arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer at the Epicenter. The officer was not injured.
  • Jeremy Earl Tucker, 23, was arrested at the Epicenter with Adams and charged with resist/obstruct/delay an officer.
  • Ali Miller, 24, was arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer at the Epicenter. The officer suffered a cut on his face.
  • Morgan Lashley, 29, was arrested for assaulting an officer at the All American Pub on S. Bland St.
