$1,000 reward offered in 2007 Huntersville murder case

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) — A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the 2007 murder of Courtney Deshawn Saunders.

Saunders was murdered in his home, located in the 14900 block of Statesville Road, on April 7, 2007. Investigators say two armed persons forced their way inside Saunders’ residence and shot the 32-year-old to death. 

One suspect was described as a black male, 6′, medium braids, wearing a black jacket, and armed with a handgun. The second suspect was described as a black male, late 20s, 5’8″ or 5’9″, stocky build, shaved head, wearing a purple or black hoodie, and also armed.
